How to Get Outside
There are two ways to get involved in the outdoors through our club: signing up as a participant for a trip and applying to be an instructor.
Sign up for trips!
Official trip signups for the Fall 2024 semester will be happening through CampusGroups on a first come first serve basis. No experience is required, we provide all equipment, and there is no long-term commitment – just a day or weekend of fun off-campus!
IMPORTANT: Please do not sign up for more than 2 trips per semester so that others can get the same opportunity!
Become an instructor!
We accept applications to become an instructor (“join the club”) in the Fall semester of each year (September/October). If you are an undergraduate looking to get more involved in the outdoors and join a community of passionate individuals, consider applying in the Fall! NO OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED to become a JHOC instructor.
